Hyaluronic Acid Filler
Hyaluronic acid filler is a nonsurgical option effective at diminishing facial aging
What are injectable fillers?
Injectable fillers are also commonly known as dermal fillers, soft tissue fillers, facial fillers, and HA fillers, Injectable fillers are synthetically manufactured materials designed for aesthetic implantation in the human body by needle injection. The class of cosmetic injectable fillers consists of many chemical compounds with different safety profiles. Currently, hyaluronic acid has the best safety record among aesthetic injectable fillers.
Hyaluronic Acid Filler
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is found in the body. It is a material that is contained in various soft tissues, such as the skin. Hyaluronic acid can be synthetically produced by a process of bacterial fermentation, chemically stabilized, and purified for use as an injectable soft tissue filler. Hyaluronic acid is a biocompatible product. There is little risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reactions.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are commercially manufactured and distributed for use in aesthetic medicine. Restylane and Juvederm are some of the most commonly recognized brands of commercially available aesthetic hyaluronic acid injectable fillers. Hyaluronic acid injections may be performed as a singular procedure, in combination with other treatments such as Botox, or as an adjunct to a surgical procedure. Hyaluronic acid injections may require regional nerve blocks or local anesthetic injections to diminish discomfort. Soft tissue fillers, including hyaluronic acid, produce temporary swelling, redness, bruising, and needle marks, which resolve after a few days.
Volumize the Face
Hyaluronic acid filler injections are the most popular nonsurgical techniques used to aesthetically volumize the face and soften wrinkles from aging. It is the most common method of cosmetic augmentation of the lip, cheek, chin, and nose. The wrinkles and depressions of aging skin also respond well to hyaluronic acid injections. Angry forehead frown lines, folds, and wrinkles around the eyes-nose-mouth soften with judicious hyaluronic acid injections.
Every patient is unique requiring the filler Injections to be specifically designed for his or her individual needs. Hyaluronic acid cannot stop the process of aging. However, it can temporarily improve the appearance of wrinkles and loss of facial volume arising from age. Once injected hyaluronic acid slowly is slowly converted to water and absorbed by the body. Continuing treatments are necessary in order to maintain the volumizing effect of hyaluronic acid augmentation over time. The duration of tissue volume enhancement with injections of hyaluronic acid is variable.
